NOTE: Added to the 2008 plaque stand was a correction in the spelling of the name Combes/Coombes- which is unfortunately mis-spelt throughout the official squadron records including an entry of Combres from Canada. As a result of extensive research of the Combes family of Bosham UK and obtaining an official copy of his birth certificate the correct spelling is John Creswell Combes.
